Now it must be said that when compared to last year the Iphones sales are still down for this year but still outstripping the other platform devices by a considerable margin. It just goes to show that the little black phone still has mass appeal and the cult of Apple users dedicated to the Iphone and Ipad will always choose apple over anything else.

Now the phone still comes with the 2.3 Android so it’s still a good phone it’s just a real shame that ICS is still in the offing. Everybody (me included) are bursting with anticipation. Trying to get the latest android system on a phone that will do it justice is the challenge and it needs to come out soon  because the Nokia Lumia Windows is starting to generate quite a lot of interest, despite some reports that it’s not generating it  in sales.

The girl in the store laid down the challenge which was to show the weather in two different locations from a static start. According to Sahas he knew he had already won the challenge as he had two weather widgets that already did exactly that, also unbeknownst to the store worker the Galaxy Nexus has a feature that bypass the swipe button and goes straight to the home screen. Needless to say he won the challenge hand down, unfortunately the store worker objected saying that the weather wasn’t displayed properly as the Windows phone did. This is pretty embarrassing not just because of failure of the Window phone but the fact that the windows phone was obviously prepped beforehand and it still didn’t win.

Now Verizon has also said that there could be more devices earmarked for the upgrade so keep your ear to the ground for further news. It interesting to not that Android are now in a strong postilion to pose a serious challenge to Apple. With an enhanced user interface and more easier navigation controls amongst the may improvements on Ice Cream Sandwich this could be what people were waiting for and decide to migrant form Apple to an Android device.

This new (if you can call different color and less memory new) will be released in U.K. soon and Verizon will be following the in the same shoes after. So it looks like fashion is backed in vogue in term of cell phones, but then looked at the Iphone a sleek black face with an almost mirror like finish and its the most popular smartphone on the planet. One of the main reasons is that Android over such wide selection of devices and the Android Marketplace is expanding, yes it can be problematic but it is growing. Another reason for the increase is of course the 4G LTE buzz apple have so far ignored this and the likes of Verizon and AT&T have not, far from it Verizon have invested quite a lot in the upgrade to the new network protocol, but it still only has a small coverage but this is increasing. It makes for interesting reading though what will apple do will they keep on what the same old game plan and release a new phone every year or so or will they finally admit that android is catching up. Cram in 1 Giga byte of Ram and a rather large and impressive 16 Giga byte internal memory and you got some admirable specifications.
